TeamSpank are a rapidly expanding bunch fans of Katee Sackhoff who met up on the internets. Like most people who 'meet' on the net, we are all total losers who really need to get out of the house & participate in life more. Unlike many fanboys and fangirls, however, Spankers are very aware of this embarrassing truth. Deep down, we all know how sad and pathetic we really are, but that's OK though, because at least Katee is cool.

Once upon a time, this sad, silly contingent of Katee fans were intermingling on the webs when suddenly fate intervened and they decided to name themselves in her honor. You see, Katee is the original Spank. Actually that's technically incorrect - the original Spanker is her brother (Eric) or maybe her father. A little while ago Katee, (who apparently left her brain at the door that day), announced live on a US talk show that when she was growing up, her brother's nickname was Spank, her mother's nickname was MommaSpank and that she was LittleSpank. Katee's mum must have been so delighted that evening when it sank in that she was now going to be known as 'MommaSpank' (or 'MaSpank'?) until the end of time.

Look at Katee's surname and use your imagination. She must really treasure that "H" in the middle of her surname. Anyway, that's how TeamSpank was born. So we are TeamSpank and this is our HQ. It has come to the attention of TeamSpank HQ, that Mrs Sackhoff's nickname may not be 'MommaSpank' at all, but actually, 'Ma Spank'. Could you please contact us and provide clarification? This is most disconcerting news to all TeamSpankers and it needs to be set right. TeamSpank HQ will not rest easy until this matter is resolved! Dark times.
